Ancient Egypt: Mummies

Have a look at the exciting process we have been imitating over the past two days!

We have been using our immagination to pretend we are Egyptian Embalmers!

First we had to pull the brains out through the nose. Then we had to slice down the left hand side of the body and take out the organs (all except the heart). Then we had to sort and store the organs.

Once we had packed the body with ‘sawdust’ we had to seal it up and bandage it! Have a look at the fun we had below!
